The Community programming track focuses on the things that make fandom go:

  • Platforms: Archives, blogs, social media, chat groups (eg slacks and discords)
  • Events: Gift exchanges, challenges, fests, conventions
  • Curation: Recs lists, fan wikis

Community panels can focus on any of these topics or any topics relating to fandom as a community.

Whether you're directly involved in making the fannish wheel turn (as a seasoned moderator, a website coder, etc.), a frequent exchange participant or user of archives and wikis, or simply interested in hearing about or discussing these topics, this track is for you!
